Savage Roles: Exemplar is the first officially licensed release from Dead Squadron Games!
Creating a Savage Worlds characters can be a daunting task for both new and veteran players. Players often look for guidance on creating a character with a specific function in their party. This supplement introduces two concepts to facilitate that need: Role and Class. A Role provides instructions on how to build a character to fulfill a broad function on the battlefield. If you are looking for further specialization, a Class builds upon the foundation of a Role. Classes provide a more specific vision of how a character performs their chosen function.
This supplement includes the Exemplar Role and the subsequent Warlord and Oracle Classes. The Exemplar excels at inspiring, buffing, and supporting their party. An Exemplar may not independently dominate combat, but they ensure their allies can take on any challenge. If you enjoy playing a character who makes the party better than the sum of its parts, the Exemplar is for you. Although they have a fantasy setting feel, they can easily be adapted for use in other settings.
